Strong image. I guess this proves you can work with mnimal structural elements as well as your usual complicated compositions. The use of real and implied space, especially between the pillars and lighthouse, is excellent and creates welcome tension. I'm loving the way the birds punctuate the pillars; perhaps it's some sort of binary code: bird, not bird, bird, etc. :p

Okay, I guess  chickenfingers was a bit more constructive than I was.

Absolutely excellent photo. I love how the birds are lined up there. The whole image and the atmosphere is so surreal

Even though this would make a good composition on a clear day, the fog adds a necessary element to create the mood. Well done Brandon.

Very nice mood and composition. The binary code of bird / not bird spells Byonder in ASCII - how did you get them to do that?

Beautifully composed, and a great example for over-exposure that actually adds to the whole scene.

Great! firstly this image looks as if its a still from a motion picture, slowly the camera will truck in towards the pillars and zoom slowly on the level of the water towards the lighthouse...

theres so much of storytelling in this picture Brandon. Great piece...I completely agree with Kerry, all your pictures were full of elements and haphazards colours which somehow always merged and came out as one....
but this work shows that you can do something as simple as it can get...

threes a lot of mystic mood in this picture...i can feel life in it...

keep it up! try making a series out of these....

Really like this image! Great tones/colour. I haven't read all of the above comments, but the only crit that comes immediately to mind is that I would crop a little more off the left side (rough guess: 20 px or so at this resolution).
