Description
Just a test-shot actually, but I kinda like how it came out, so here it is.Location is Princeton, NJ.
I've recently upgraded from my Canon A95 point-and-shoot to a Nikon D80... which is a big jump for me.
I've used film SLRs before, but not DSLRs, so I'm still figuring out what all the settings do, and unfortunately the weather hasn't been cooperating with my desire to run around taking pictures.
Also, I just got back from a photo-shoot last weekend, so hopefully I'll post a few of those soon (after my client chooses which ones she wants, and providing GFX is still around...)

Like the tone and good control of light.
Nice depth.
A bit unfortunite with the leaves in top left corner.
The pole or fence or whatever it is in the middle of the frame is also an obvious imperfection imo.

Dang old-people and their railings.
If you could figure out how to eliminate that, in-camera, you'd be my hero. Seriously.
Of course, I do wish it weren't there as well. But it wasn't a big enough deterrent to not take the shot at all.

Healing it would be manipulation I guess or what does the new rules say about this beast being eliminated.
In camera? - Not really!

good job

I suppose I could clone it out. The furthest arch would probably be a bit of a hassle. Perhaps if I'm bored at work tomorrow I'll take a crack at it just for kicks (although I have quite a few photos that need editing for clients, so it would definitely take a back-burner).

Top work Brandon! I really like the framing of this and the symmetry. A good bloomin' future reference for anything gothic based too
